JESSICA KONKLE

Jessica Konkle (she/her) is an actor originally from the quaint area of Fonthill, Ontario. She embraces her connection to her small town roots, and looks at the world with a curious mind and open heart. She is eager to learn, explore, and try new things!

Jessica has had the privilege of being taught by many of Toronto’s top theatre and film professionals, including Cynthia Ashperger, Marianne McIsaac, Philippa Domville, Tim Welham, Jennifer Wigmore, and Paul de Jong. She has had the opportunity to play many wonderful roles, some of her favourites being Father in Eurydice, Sonya in Uncle Vanya, and W in LUNGS.

Jessica has performed in collaborations with many well-established theatre companies, including Taragon Theatre, Why Not Theatre, and Theatre Passe Muraille. Recently, she found herself doing background work on a feature film set under the direction of M. Night Shyamalan! Jessica was also recently chosen as a guest performer in Hyprov: Improv Under Hypnosis at Ed Mirvish Theatre, where she improvised with Canadian acting legend, Colin Mochrie!

Jessica has a wide range of experience on stages and sets - both big and small! She loves the valuable learning she receives with each new project, learning more about the characters she plays as well as herself in the process.
